Writing:
Heidi is a writer and strategist based in San Francisco, California. Her work has been featured on Bettyconfidential.com, shine.yahoo.com, Women 2.0 and has led to multiple awards including one from Business Week. She seeks to reach out to other women across the world to unite them via inspirational stories and humorous tales. She is currently working on her first book, The Untaken Road.
Business:
As a ‘human focused’ strategist, Heidi helps foster business development at IDEO, a human centered design and innovation firm. Previous to that she founded Chameleon Endeavors, a strategic advisory firm where she designed growth strategies and product roadmaps for a breadth of retailers from Fortune 500 firms to start-ups. Heidi also drove business development efforts at Kurt Salmon, landing and managing multi-million dollar product development initiatives.
Community:
Heidi works to support women owned businesses and served on the advisory board of the Fearless Women Entrepreneur Network and helped with business development at Women 2.0. Heidi also believes in the power of the future generations and volunteers with young girls at agencies like Refugee Transitions.
Credentials:
Heidi holds a BA in Business Economics and a MBA, both from the University of Washington. She speaks conversant Spanish,French and German. Believing that every girl should know how to throw a punch, she also is an avid boxer and runner.
