What I Believe
I believe in radical transparency and a notion of reciprocity between writer and reader as well as company and customer. I believe in writing the truth, even when it hurts. At work I believe in speaking with candor, even when it’s unpopular. As a humanist, I’m also an advocate of design thinking and feel we can use it to solve almost any challenge.
Who I Am
I am a career mom that is trying to balance it all while sharing her experiences. My daughter and the outdoors take up most of my free time. While my daughter is furiously making art with macaroni and pink crayons at school, I lead Design and Research at Narvar. Previously I led UX at Gap Inc. and the retail portfolio of work at IDEO, a global design and innovation firm. Prior to joining IDEO, I worked at Kurt Salmon (now Accenture Strategy) designing growth strategies and product roadmaps for Fortune 500 firms. I’m currently working on my first novel-young adult fiction.
I speak at national and local conferences on innovation, radical transparency, and the power of storytelling.
